Steam Fix is required for the companion’s Steam workflow, but not for the website generator or ZIP downloads.

System Requirements
Windows 10/11, Windows PowerShell 5.1 or PowerShell 7+, Steam and an internet connection.
Official Installation Reference
Run PowerShell as Administrator. Steam Fix closes Steam and replaces configuration and compatibility files; keep a backup of files you want to restore.
